Earlier this month, my friend Mitra (of Deluxe) asked me to style her hair and makeup for a fashion show she was hosting, as well as doing just makeup on two of her models. I love to do makeup, and I jumped at the chance.The show was put on by a local recycling center and paired designers with different area businesses and challenged the designers to create a look out of the businesses' trash. This trashion show was a fancy event, and I was so excited to be invited as a guest of Mitra's.
I scored this vintage dress a few weeks prior for just $15. The lace collar is decked out in rhinestones and the back has a beautiful black bow. I also wore my favorite fancy shoes, these studded Sam Edleman babies. I love dressing up!
